More Fishing Charter Testimonials
Stuart,
Thanks for the photo. The trip was the best fishing charter we have been on – one we will be talking about for a while.
We will definitely be booking you again, probably for a package to try and catch one of the big ones.

Hi Stuart
Just a quick note to thank you not only for the photos, but for the amazing day that we had last Saturday. We are all still talking about it and the fish that we caught. Thank you for looking after us so well. Of course, needless to say we are all already a little poorer due to new gear purchases but can’t wait to try it out.
Regards John Pye
Hi Stuart
Just a short note to say we really enjoyed ourselves on Saturday and again thank you for a great fishing charter experience. Looking forward to seeing the photos and hopefully catch up with you again sometime in the future

Hi Stuart
We all had a great trip with you on Saturday. We will be talking with some other friends about having another such outing before winter sets in. We were all impressed by the quality of your boat and equipment, your fishing know-how and your preparedness to chase a diversity of fish types.
Thanks again ..Ian Lindenmayer

Just a quick thank you for last Thursday's charter. Theo and I had a great day, notwithstanding the minor downpour and the fact that the numbers of fish landed may have been down. We both learnt a good deal about the techniques of using soft plastics and the sorts of areas to fish. Hopefully we will be able to put this knowledge to good use on our occasional forays to the coastal estuaries.
We hope to do a "refresher course" with you sometime next year. In the meantime, all the best with your Australian fishing charter business. I will have no hesitation in recommending you to anyone interested in an estuary charter.
Regards ..Bob Cook
Hi Stuart,
Finally got around to sending you the photos we took when Janelle caught the Flattie on our charter.
Once again we both thoroughly enjoyed our day and are already looking forward to our next trip with you! Thanks again for your time and hospitality, hope the family is well and business is booming!
Stuart and Janelle Beath.
G’day Stuie.
Mate just wanted to say thank you for a great day on Saturday. My father and I had an absolute ball. I’ve been wanting to go fishing with a guide for years and have to admit it far exceeded my expectations.
I have a couple of mates mad keen on getting into the plastics and so I will be looking at bringing them down some time soon – I’ll be in touch!
Thanks again for your time & effort and a great day!.

Hi Stuart,
Thank you so much for a fantastic fishing trip! It's been over a week now and Sarah and I have done nothing but talk about it to everyone within earshot. We had such a good time and the skills that you taught us were sensational. What a great feeling too letting that big Bream go back to the water. We are going out to buy some new gear as we are well and truly hooked on using soft plastics. We are looking forward to spending another day on the water with you later in the year to learn some more tricks of the trade.
Mate once again thank you for the great day, we had a blast!!

Just wanted to say thanks for a great few days. The fishing was better than I could have ever expected. The "return to Wonboyn" was a treat for me and it will always have a special place in my memories. Dad was blown away by the number of fish that we caught. So was I.
I got a buzz out of the poppering at Tuross and it reminded me of Top End fishing for small barra or Mangrove Jack around the mangrove roots. I will no doubt be looking to the future and some more adventures with you.
Thanks again

Gidday Stuart,
Thanks for the fishing trip, it was an absolute blast.
Tuross was fantastic and those whiting were memorable on plastics and the poppers just blew me away - whiting just don't get caught on the surface down here.
Thanks for a great fishing trip that will be remembered for a long time.
Cheers

Hi Stuart,
Just wanted to say a massive thanks for a brilliant day. We learned heaps and it was a pleasure to be on a boat when a once in a lifetime fish is boated!

Stuart,
"My partner Miranda and I had the recent pleasure of Stuart's company for a play with plastics in the beautiful Wagonga Inlet at Narooma. My dad and I had been out on a previous excursion with
Stuart with our first time on plastics, and had a blast hooking up to flathead and juvenile snapper. Dad has been a keen fisherman for all of his 81 years, and I was interested to see how he'd go with a completely new style of fishing.
Stuart was the perfect host on that adventure, and displayed infinite patience and good humor as the alien concept of plastic lures, jigheads, and braided line was revealed. That trip made a huge difference as to how we approached fishing with plastics, and Miranda was keen to make her mark with the Wagonga flatties and had several recipes she intended to use on any keepers.
Despite a howling wind in the treetops the previous night where I was sure we'd have to cancel our little expedition, the day dawned clear and still and we made it to the boat ramp for our scheduled 6:00am kickoff. A quick introduction and we were in the water cruising to the first target for the day.
For those people that haven't been to Wagonga Inlet, it's a truly spectacular waterway with much to see if you can drag your eyes from the task of watching your line. But watching your line is a Stuart mantra for
successful plastics fishing, and we dutifully flicked and retrieved until the first hookup went to Miranda. Her first flathead on plastics and I wasn't sure who was more excited, Miranda or Stuart! Based on my previous trip with Aussie Estuary Adventures, I was keen on watching the 'flathead whisperer' take an active role in flinging lures as I've found it hugely valuable watching Stu's technique.
He seems to vary his retrieve constantly in an effort to provoke strikes, and there's nothing like watching a master of the art in the hope of absorbing some of his wealth of knowledge. A magnificent puffer fish took
Stuart's squidgie at one point and I must have been paying attention as I caught one just like it the next day. He didn't seem too excited about adding this one to the trophy cabinet. A range of fish species including flatties, bream, reddies, tailor and a flying gunnard rounded out a great mornings fishing.
If you haven't tried a fishing charter before, are relatively new to the South Coast waterways, or new to the plastics game, you really should give Stuart a call and organize a trip. You'll learn far more in a morning or day of fishing with Stuart than you will in months of plying the estuaries yourself. When you consider how much you spend on fishing tackle, petrol, food etc for a weekend away, the cost of a fishing charter is a bargain and you're guaranteed to have a great time on the water."
