Species Targeted and What Locations Fished

Fish Species and LocationsAFEA fish estuary systems such as Clyde River (Batemans Bay), Tuross Lake (Tuross), Wagonga Inlet (Narooma), Merimbula and Pambula Lakes, Eden, Wonboyn Lake (Wonboyn) and many other smaller estuaries and tidal rivers that frequent this part of the southern NSW coastline

Such systems include, Yowaka River (Pambula), Pambula River, Bega River (Tathra), Kiah Inlet (Twofold Bay) to just name a few. Almost all estuarine species are found in these smaller systems at some time of the year.

Techniques used include soft plastics, deep water, shallow water, fast channel techniques, oyster racks, snags and the list goes on. Hard bodied lures and poppers also used for bream, flathead and whiting especially.
These coastal estuaries run clear and deep and hold saltwater sports fish of all kinds. Jewfish (mulloway), bream (black & yellowfin), dusky flathead, trevally, salmon, tailor, snapper, whiting are all available at certain times of the year. Estuary Perch and bass can also be targeted in the upper reaches of most estuaries and rivers along this part of the southern NSW coastline as well.

Our professional guides have over 15 years experience fishing these coastal waters and will ensure that you, the angler, will have an experience that you won’t forget.
